I had my breakfasts and lunches in our room. The counter and table space in the kitchenette was ample and the small fridge adequate. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated that we had a tub in the shower. It was nice to have a "living room" and a separate bedroom. We pack a lot of food and sports gear so that was fantastic. We got a 2 bedroom suite and the extra bedroom became our storage area. Requesting a room on a higher floor was a really good idea. Early check in was a breeze since we are IHG members. We don't have kids and after reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant as to what to expect. We made a reservation here because the hotel where my boyfriend's conference was being held was ridiculously expensive.
